When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information. This is used solely to identify your account and sync your data across devices.
Decavu stores your notes, hourly events, birthdays, and preferences. All data is stored locally in your browser first, and synced to our cloud database (hosted on Supabase) when you're signed in.
If you enable the Google Calendar overlay, Decavu reads your calendar events in read-only mode. These events are cached temporarily in your browser (5-minute TTL) and are never stored on our servers.
Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security. Only you can access your own data. Automatic backups are kept to protect against accidental data loss.
You can delete all your data at any time by signing out. To request complete account deletion, contact support@decavu.com.
Decavu uses localStorage for app state and authentication. We don't use tracking cookies.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page.
